Dog Day Afternoon
March 26, 2006 was a very special Dog Day Afternoon for the LA/SPCA. Since they lost their facility to Katrina, they have been working furiously to get back to help the animals of the New Orleans area. The turnout and support from the community at this year's Dog Day Afternoon fundraiser was wonderful. Louisiana Boxer Rescue's kissing booth was a big hit, and raised lots of money for both LaBR and the LA/SPCA. Volunteers and those attending all had a great time. The weather was perfect, the dogs were happy and how could the people help but be happy with all those wagging tails around! We hope you enjoy our pictures as much as we enjoyed the day.
