In October, 2002 we received a call from a local shelter. They had a Boxer girl they should not put up for adoption due to her condition. If rescue wanted her, they would release her to them; otherwise, she would have to be euthanized. She weighed 38 pounds, severely underweight. She had demodex, heartworms and multiple infections. She had horrible horn-like growths on the base of both ears. She had been bred numerous times and looked to have recently had puppies. We took the challenge. Fast forward to September 14th, 2003. Deja is healthy, heartworm and growth free, and enjoying the good life with a Northshore couple who made her their 3rd LaBR adoption. She spent her 1st official "new home" weekend visiting 3 Dog Bakery and swimming at the beach with her new brother, Bruno. Way to go, Deja!

Jack is going to be a happy boy! His new mom and dad fell in love with his picture and when they met him, they knew he was the fella for them. Mom and Dad both have home offices so Jack won't have to spend any time alone. Judging from the looks on the faces of his new family, it's hard to tell who is going to be happier. We sure are pleased for all three of them!

Izzy has found her home. She has a family, a yard and a canine brother. Judging from the picture, it looks like she has settled in quite well. Her own people and another boxer to snuggle with. What more could a girl want? Way to go, Izzy!!

Luke and Gabby went to their new home! What a great life they are going to have with their new mom and dad. It was love at first sight for all of them. Mom and Dad fell in love as soon as they saw Luke's picture on the website. Luke and Gabby fell in love with their new people the minute they met them. Truly a match made in heaven and we are just thrilled for all four of them!

Sweet, bouncy Layla found her forever family...or they found her when they came to meet Sammy. Within hours after they got home with Sammy, they had called back and wanted Layla to complete their family. We understand that Layla and Sammy are taking up most of the bed at night...and that is just fine with their new mom and dad!
