It's been almost a year. He had a stroke. We almost lost him. But Handsome is healthy, happy and he now has a home! YIPPEE! He was adopted by the same family that adopted Beauty a few months ago. They fell in love with Handsome but wanted to make sure they were ready for another Boxer in their home. Tears were shed when this special boy drove away. Some sad but mostly tears of joy. What a special boy and what a special home he now has :-) |

When this young couple saw Grant and read his story, their hearts went out to him. They decided that they would sponsor Grant, and help him through his heartworm treatment costs. They checked on him frequently and were so thrilled when he came through with flying colors that they had to come and actually visit him. Once they met it in person, that was it! Grant's "sponsors" are now his parents, and he has a new boxer sister, Madison. What a great ending (or rather, beginning) to Grant's story! |

They drove all the way across the state to meet Picabou and when they met, it was obvious that it was meant to be. Picabou got a new mom and dad, plus a new boxer brother! But the BEST part is that mom is a home-school teacher, and has children at the house everyday for Picabou to play with. She left her foster home wearing her new bandana around her neck and looking like she had been with her new family forever. We are so thrilled for this sweet little girl! |

It was a long ride home, but Katie is finally where she belongs. Her new mama thinks that Katie is just a grand thing, and there is no doubt that Katie feels the same way about mama! Her own yard, a soft bed, good food and someone who loves her very much...what more could a Boxer girl ask for? We are very happy for both of them. |

We almost thought that Lacy was going to a permanent fixture here. :) All it took though, was the right person and she finally came along! At last report, Lacy was curled on the couch taking a nap after having learned to share the bed with her human the night before. Lacy learned that something worth having is worth waiting for! Her new person was definitely worth the wait! |
