Zack has a new mom and dad and it is hard to tell who looks the happiest. :) Zack jumped into the car and curled up on his new mom's lap and promptly went to sleep. I would say that he felt very comfortable with her! We are so thrilled that our Zack got the perfect home! |

This from Katrina's mom: Katrina has been at our home for a week now and we love her to death. We have changed her name to Russia (to match Rotor). This has been a wonderful experience. I've attached a picture of our new family. Russia is on the couch, Rotor is on the floor. We at LaBR think Russia (and Rotor) have a great family and we are SO thrilled for them! |

Sweet little Nicki is now Sage! Her new family think that she is the prettiest, sweetest and smartest gal around. Sage thinks her family is pretty great, too. We couldn't be happier for our little shy girl that just needed the love of a good family to bring her out of her shell. |

We found out Stormy and Cane's real names were Nino and Max. They saw them on our website and contacted us. Their Dad stayed during the storm and reported to work at the New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board once the storm passed. A few hours later, the levee broke and he could not get home. His home flooded. He was then evacuated and feared he would never see his boys again. It was an "almost" tearful reunion. Nino and Max were so excited when they saw their family. Way to go, guys, you survived Katrina and found your family. |
