Leah is now Jasta, which means "fighter". This girl did have quite a fight to get where she is today...a hard spay, a hard heartworm treatment...nothing came easy. But she is a fighter, and wound up in a most awesome home. We know that the family is going to be very happy for many years to come. Oh, and that purple toy? That is Jasta's baby and it goes everywhere with her. :) |

Jada finally found her family, and what a great family they are. She not only has her mama and dad, but she has a boxer brother. She is well -loved and enjoys playing with her people and her brother. She is a very happy girl, and we think they make a great looking family! |

They came to meet dogs, but after they met Dexter, their search was over. Dexter seemed to know that these were his people. Dex is a very good boy, and was just waiting for someone to see how special he is. He now has a mom, dad and a skin kid to call his very own. Way to go, Dexter! We can see how happy everyone is. |

Buster is the greatest and found the best home. He is on the road with his Dad who is working in New Orleans to help rebuild. He takes frequent trips to his new home base in Kentucky. He's the travelin man! |

Spike was adopted and was supposed to be picked up the day we evacuated. We all know how that worked out. His new Dad got flooded and decided it wouldn't be a good time to take in a new Boxer since his house was unlivable and he was in an apartment. Several months later the same Dad called us in hopes to possibly adopt someone else. He figured Spike was gone by now. Well old Spike was holding out. He was still with us and his new Dad was thrilled. Sometimes things are just meant to be. |
