Remember our little Mackenzie who was hit by a car, and her owner agreed to turn her over to LaBR instead of euthanizing her? Well, she had some horrific injuries, and we really weren't sure how things would turn out for this sweet girl. After surgeries and healing time, and the best of care from the veterinary referral center in Covington, it seems that Mackenzie had decided that she would get well and live a good life. Here she is with her new family. They are completely thrilled with her, and we look forward to wonderful stories from them for years to come. |

They had adopted Max to go with their other furkids, then decided one more might be a good idea! :) So, they took Savanna home and say that she is a wonderful addition to their family. Savanna now gets to spend her days with a family who adores her and canine siblings who love her, too. What a great forever for this sweet gal! |

The hardest part of writing this success story for Maggie Mae was deciding which of the incredible pictures to use! Maggie Mae has a wonderful family who adores her, her grandma has a chocolate lab who is her best friend and they get to play together all the time. What more could a sweet, wonderful gal ask for? Her mom reports that she is a perfect fit into their family, and they love her so much. What a great "forever after" for this sweetheart. |

Otto looks like he is smiling, and he has good reason to always smile. When he was abandoned, tied to a flagpole, he had to wonder what in the world was happening. Then, his mom met him and immediately fell in love with him. He got a new name, and life he could only have dreamed of! He has soft doggie pillows to sleep on, lots of toys to play with, and best of all, a loving owner who thinks he is the best boy in the world. What a great ending for this wonderful young boy! |

Victory has a new home and a new name. Her name is Eleanor now, to go with her Dobie brother, Ike. As you can see, they make a great looking pair. Ellie's new family think that she is pretty wonderful, and she doesn't seem to mind the kitties, either. She has come a LONG way from being left tied to a flagpole! From now on, she will be treated like the First Lady! |
