Well, when little Miss Allee came to us, our vet didn't know if her fractured leg could be fixed since it was displaced for so long before we got her. But with his great surgery, and lots of coddling and crate rest, she is once again able to be a happy, healthy puppy. And to make it even better, she has a WONDERFUL forever home who will love and care for her. Her life is certainly looking up! |

It's been awhile since they were here, but Buzz was one of our deafies, and Boomer is a hearing white guy who was here at the same time. This great family came to see Boomer, decided they wanted him, but had to wait until he had gone through his heartworm treatment. While they were here, they fell in love with Buzz, but had really decided on Boomer. They left and called 30 minutes later and said they wanted both of the boys, who had become great friends in rescue. So they came back, got Buzz and when Boomer was healthy, he went, too. The boys love each other and have a great time camping with their family. Reports are they are the biggest hit at the campgrounds they visit. Way to go, Guys!!!! |

Well, Kelsey found a home, with no other dogs, and she thinks that this is wonderful. She is very happy and immediately felt at home. Her new mama thinks she is a most special and wonderful gal, and we knew it all along. Way to go, Kelsey...We don't know who looks happier, Kelsey or hew new mom. :) |

Demi has a new mom and dad who have given her a wonderful home with her own beautiful, grassy yard! They were so excited when they added Demi to their family and Demi loves her new family and life. They have lots of family members with other dogs, and they all get along, so she is never at a loss for playmates. Way to go, Demi...you have a life you dreamed about!!! |

"Nellie is the happiest girl I have EVER seen," says her foster mom. It was hard for her to let Nellie go, she is the best. But her foster mom knows this home is the best thing that she could ever hope for. Her family is very involved in volunteer work at the LASPCA and has helped Boxer rescue, to! They know what our Rescues go through and will treat Nellie with the extra special care she deserves. She has a Boxer brother now, too. You go, Nellie!!" |

Before Sophie was well enough to leave rescue, her forever family came to meet her. The second that she gently walked up to her new little "sister" and softly kissed her cheek, the deal was sealed. :) They patiently waited for Sophie to heal, and the day she go to go home was a joyous day. Her mom reports that fur kid and skin kid are inseparable and she knows that it will be a friendship for life. Good going, Sophie!!! |
